King of JDM Porsche tuning

Some pictures of the king of Porsche tuning in Japan courtsey of one of my favorite blogs, Speedhunters. His name is Kei Nakai and to my surprise he started out being the leader of the infamous drift crew named Rough World that consisted of ae86s and jzx81s. Then from there he started Rauh Welt which is Rough World in German and the rest is history. I hope to someday meet this guy.

Here are some examples of RSR style rear ends. The orange car was built by Markuzzi Exclusive. I don't know who built the turquoise one. The yellow car was built by a forum member on PelicanParts. Lastly, the red one was built by Sunburst.

Chrome door handles

So today i decided to take off the heavy chrome door handles off the doors cause i will not be doing the chrome exterior trim theme. In place of these chrome door handles i will be purchasing lighter non chrome 993 door handles.

Future gauge set up

After stripping 90% of my car down i decided to put in the gauges for fun. The inspiration for tilting the gauges came from my ae86 corolla days when i use to flip through autoworks magazines on the regular.

From January till now i have sold all the calipers, iroc bumper, 965 rear fiberglass bumper, turbo whale tail, and corbeau seat. So far the only things i've bought new are the porsche crest hood trunk emblem with rubber seal and my blank porsche keys. Hopefully i will be able to buy some more new parts before the year ends.

The adventure's opening curtains

This will be the documentation of my 911 project and other 911 related things. My car is a 1975 911 S (NON SUNROOF!) that i purchased from a man in Salinas early January of this year. The previous owner was a cool kat has been working on Porsches since he was young and showed me the basics of the 911 game.

The picture that rekindled my childhood dream car.
